MY BEES:I have been using the Kenyan Top Bar System to keep bees in an urban setting for about 7 years now. I also have experience with the Langstroth system. At this writing I have 3 hives, two in my backyard in North Oakland, California and one at my partner's house in San Anselmo California. One colony is of Italians from Coma Apiaries, the other two are splits from a feral swarm. All are thriving.
